While we provide guidance to students who aim to sit for music examinations, we do not forget those who are learning music for the joy that music brings.

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMES
Foundation Course:
Specially crafted for those who wish to receive a well-rounded musical education, focusing on the foundation of instrumental techniques as well as development of sound production and musicality. Suitable for pupils preparing for musical examinations and those wishing to explore a diverse music repertoire.
Talents Project:
Carefully prepared by our mentors, this project prepares pupils aiming to succeed at music competitions and international performances. Besides intensive individual classes, it encourages pupils to participate in masterclasses and rehearsal performances on a regular basis.
Adult Classes:
Suitable for amateur musicians, working adults and music lovers who wish to polish their playing skills and deepen their repertoire knowledge.

GROUP PROGRAMMES
MUSIC APPRECIATION CLASSES:
These are special interactive sessions, catered to students of all ages. Set in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, pupils of the same level come together to learn and make music. In such a setting there is maximum interaction between teacher and students, as well as interaction among students themselves to enhance the joy of learning. This course includes the use of The ONE Smart Piano innovative teaching solution to help beginners understand correct concepts and methods in learning piano in an easy and enjoyable way.
MUSIC THEORY AND AURAL CLASSES
A strong foundation in music theory and aural skills are vital in the learning of any instrument. These classes could be conducted in group or individual settings. Pupils will learn to sharpen their sense of hearing and rhythm; improve on their singing and music reading. The knowledge they gain in these matters (including knowledge of harmony) will develop their general musicianship in a holistic way.
CHAMBER MUSIC / PIANO ENSEMBLE
These classes enable pupils to gain the experience and confidence of playing together. Music collaboration is especially beneficial for improving listening, sight-reading, and rhythmic skills. Through performing together pupils inspire each other and discover the joy of music making.
MUSIC SHARING SESSIONS
These are forums suitable for professional teachers and musicians to meet, to share and exchange views. Here, they can discuss problems and look for solutions. Each sharing session deals with a specific theme or topic.
At Music Salon Emmanuel we adopt a student-centred approach to learning, taking into consideration the different needs and ability of the student. At the same time we also encourage pupils to accept some necessary incremental level of difficulty as an impetus to continually reach higher and farther.
